Euskabea receives recognition from the Naturklima Voluntary Carbon Fund. This fund, created in Gipuzkoa as a voluntary instrument for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in organizations and compensating them through projects with local impact, encompasses initiatives such as green infrastructure, CO2 sink enhancement, renewable energy, decarbonization of the economy, and circular economy.

Euskabea is one of the 39 companies that, thanks to their commitment to the environment, have offset their carbon footprint, totaling 74 tons of CO2. This collective effort has enabled the offsetting of a total of 11,000 tons of CO2, equivalent to €115,000.

Thanks to this compensation, two important ecological restoration projects have been promoted in Gipuzkoa: the regeneration of the Molinao stream in Donostia and the creation of micro-wetlands in the Lasain-Gogortegi area in Irun.
